The Oasis Church near Waterloo Station in the Lambeth area of south London is part of the Oasis family of churches. Founded in 1985 by the Reverend Steve Chalke, it is a network of Christian congregations active in over 10 countries known for their commitment to social justice, community engagement, and holistic ministry.

The church seeks to provide spiritual nourishment, support, and encouragement to its members while also actively reaching out to the local community and the homeless through various outreach programs and initiatives.

The spire is part of the former 19th century Christ Church which was destroyed in World War II and rebuilt on a smaller scale in the 1950s and 60s. Only the spire, the Lincoln Memorial Tower, survived the bombing and now adjoins a modern office block.
