Stockport Interchange Bus Station
All Change - Stockport Bus Station
Stockport Interchange bus station in Stockport opened in 2024 at a cost of 140 million pounds. It replaced the old bus station and includes 18 bus stands and a pleasant rooftop garden. The facility may also handle any future extension of the Manchester Metrolink south to Stockport.
It is located off the A6 north to Manchester and south to Buxton opposite Stockport Precinct and a short walk from both Stockport Market and Stockport Viaduct. The new bus station is part of Stockport's £1 billion town centre regeneration project.
