The Banqueting House in Chipping Campden is a historic architectural wonder nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds. Built in the early 17th century, it is one of the few surviving structures of Campden House, a grand Jacobean mansion commissioned by wealthy wool merchant Sir Baptist Hicks.

The mansion itself was destroyed during the English Civil War in the 17th century, but the Banqueting House, along with a few other structures, remains as a testament to the estate's former grandeur.

Designed as a place for entertaining guests and enjoying scenic views of the surrounding countryside, the building features elegant stonework, mullioned windows, and a charming elevated position that offers a glimpse into the lavish lifestyle of the period's aristocracy.

Managed by the National Trust, the site is a popular attraction for visitors. The town itself is known for its beautifully preserved Cotswold stone buildings and connections to the Arts and Crafts movement.
