Arbroath Harbour is located in the center of the small town of Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland, north of Dundee.
The harbor is complemented by a seaside promenade, offering visitors a pleasant stroll along the waterfront. The promenade also provides scenic views of the harbor and the seascape of the North Sea.
History
Historically, Arbroath was known for its thriving fishing industry, and the harbor played a central role in supporting this important economic activity for the town. While the fishing industry has evolved over the years, the harbor remains an important hub for maritime activities.

Marina
Arbroath Harbour is not only a working harbor but also a marina that provides berthing facilities for a variety of vessels, including fishing boats and pleasure craft. The marina is used by both local fishermen and recreational boaters as well as commercial vessels offering trips to sightseers and anglers.

Eating & Drinking
The harbour area has several excellent fish and chip shops as well as stores selling the town's famed Arbroath Smokies - a traditional smoked haddock dish.
The Old Boatyard Restaurant also serves fresh local seafood.

A lifeboat and an inshore rescue craft are both at the harbour stationed at the RNLI Arbroath Lifeboat Station.
The nearest railway station to the harbour is Arbroath Station, around 15 minutes away on foot. It is on the line from Aberdeen to Dundee Station. The fastest trains take about 20 minutes between Dundee and Arbroath.
Located on South Union Street Dundee Station has trains to London King's Cross Station from Aberdeen via Edinburgh, Newcastle and York Station in York as well as more local ScotRail trains to Glasgow Queen Street in Glasgow via Perth and Stirling as well as connections south to Edinburgh Waverley Station in Edinburgh.

In addition to the harbour area other attractions in and around Arbroath include Arbroath Abbey, the nearby Signal Tower Museum, the lovely Arbroath Cliffs walking trail and attractive Auchmithie up the coast, known as the home of the Arbroath Smokie. Gayfield Park, the home stadium of the local football team, Arbroath FC is a short walk from the harbour, close to the Pleasureland amusement center.
