Infinite Accumulation Sculpture, London. — Yayoi Kusama's Infinite Accumulation Sculpture

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama's Infinite Accumulation sculpture stands outside the Elizabeth Line entrance to Liverpool Street Station in London.

Unveiled in 2024, the work is 10 meters high and 12 meters wide and its steel spheres reference Kusama's signature polka dots much used in her other works.

The work is the artist's first permanent public artwork in Britain and Kusama's largest permanent public sculpture covering a distance of 100 meters.

Liverpool Street station is now London's busiest station having overtaken London Waterloo in 2023.

The artwork was commissioned as part of The Crossrail Art Foundation's public art programme for the Elizabeth Line with the support of Victoria Miro. It is also the final artwork in that program to be installed.
