The Media City Footbridge, sometimes known as Salford Quays Swing Bridge, is a cable-stayed swing bridge across the Manchester Ship Canal in Salford, Greater Manchester.

Opened in 2011, this curved bridge with a sculptural appearance was designed by WilkinsonEyre, who also designed a somewhat similar bridge at Canary Wharf, South Quay Bridge.

The bridge is 272 feet (83 meters) long, with spans of 213 feet and 59 feet. The bridge pivots open to create a navigable channel of 157 feet. It connects the main part of MediaCityUK with the ITV studios and Imperial War Museum North on the other bank.

The other pedestrian bridge of note in the area is the Lowry Bridge (aka Salford Quays Footbridge or Salford Quays Lift Bridge).

The MediaCityUK district is about 15 minutes west of Manchester city center on the Metrolink. The nearest Metrolink station is MediaCityUK or Harbour City - take a tram from Piccadilly Station on the Eccles Line. The nearest tram stop to the IWM North is the Imperial War Museum Metrolink Tram Station.

The #9 bus links Salford Crescent rail station and Salford Shopping City with MediaCityUK and The Lowry at Salford Quays.

Hotel Football next to Old Trafford Stadium is a recommended place to stay in this part of Manchester. Other popular hotels near Salford Quays include the Holiday Inn Hotel MediaCity and the Holiday Inn Express Manchester - Salford Quays.
