The Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, dates from 1897. There has been a theatre on the site since 1879 when the wooden Grand Varieties Theatre was first built.

It was designed by architect W.G.R. Sprague and is a Grade II listed building with 1,068 seats. It was built in the traditional Edwardian style and has a beautiful façade adorned with ornate decorations. Over the years, the Lyceum has undergone several renovations and refurbishments to maintain its grandeur while also incorporating modern amenities and technology. It stands close to the nearby Crucible Theatre.
