Arden Arms
The Arden Arms, close to Merseyway Shopping Centre and the market, has been lovingly restored. It is known both for its fine food and well kept Robinson's beer.
The pub is a Grade II listed building which was previously a 19th century coaching inn.
Lunch is served daily with an evening menu available Wednesday to Sunday.
The Arden Arms is a gay-friendly pub, and prides itself on excellent service to all.

Swan With Two Necks
The Swan With Two Necks is a narrow, traditional pub housed in a Grade II listed building complete with oak panelling and snugs.
The pub serves food at lunch time along with a good pint of Stockport's acclaimed local beer, Robinson's.
If you are a fan of classic British pub interiors, the Swan is a must. Its open fires, polished brasses and cosy snugs make this one of Stockport's most atmospheric pubs.

Queen's Head
The Queen's Head, aka Turner's Vaults, is an historic and very narrow pub on Little Underbank. It dates back to 1790 no less.
There are three rooms with fine wood panelling, stone steps and original Victorian features. The ale on offer is Samuel Smith.

Travellers Call
The Travellers Call (no apostrophe) is on the A6 in Great Moor on the 192 bus route to Stepping Hill Hospital.
It is a Robinson's Pub with a cozy, woody interior with snugs. There's an historic painted pub sign on the side of the building on Cherry Tree Lane.

The Crown
The Crown is a Robinson's Pub and the cobbled space outside the pub is where the trams in Stockport used to stop in days gone by. At the back of the pub is a hidden gem of a bowling green.
The 192 bus to Manchester and the 199 bus from Buxton to Manchester Airport stop just outside the pub.

George & Dragon
The George & Dragon (previously The Phoenix) is a Greene King pub on the A6 in Hazel Grove close to Stepping Hill Hospital.
There is free Wifi, televised sport, live music nights and recommended food including a traditional Sunday Roast.

The Anchor
The Anchor is a Robinson's pub and has been in its present location for a long time. There is a beer garden at the back and pub grub at lunch times.
There is a pub car park, a beer garden at the back and televised football.
The Flying Coach
The Flying Coach (formerly the Cock Hotel) is on the A6 in Hazel Grove, Stockport.
The pub was completely remodelled and renamed in 2015. It now serves both Stockport's local beer Robinson's (Old Tom, Trooper, Big Wave) and a range of international craft beers. Sour dough pizzas are served from noon until late.
The pub has a friendly and intimate atmosphere. After the renovation the interior is more modern and light though many original features have been preserved.

Three Tunnes
In recent years the Three Tunnes has been completely revamped inside and out and now has a more spacious and open plan feel to it. The gents' toilet has been moved inside as well.
At the back of the pub is an outdoor beer garden where visitors can smoke. The Three Tunnes has a food menu and there are frequent live music nights.

The Grapes
The Grapes is next door to the Three Tunnes and is another fine Robinson's pub.
The pub hosts karaoke nights and special events.
There's a beer garden at the back and the interior is spacious and comfortable.

Bird in Hand
The Bird in Hand was another Robinson's pub across the road from both The Grapes and Three Tunnes.
At the back was a large patio used for BBQ's in the summer. There was a dart board and a very homely feel (closed in 2023).

Horse & Jockey
The Horse & Jockey offers a variety of fun evenings including karaoke, wine Wednesdays and music nights with DJ's.
There's a fully stocked gin bar plus Coors Light, Estrella Damm, Guinness and Stella on tap.
There is also live sport on the TV (Sky & BT).

The Blossoms
The Blossoms in Stockport, close to St George's Church on the A6, is a favorite with live music fans and supporters of Stockport County after a match.
Located at the junction of Bramhall Lane and the A6, The Blossoms is well-known for a great pint of Stockport's acclaimed local beer, Robinson's. The pub is housed in a triangular-shaped, former coaching house. It is now a Grade II listed building.
The cozy interior is decorated with photographs of the pub and the nearby Robinson's brewery. There is a small outside seating area.

Dog & Partridge
The Dog & Partridge, close to both Stockport School and Stockport Grammar School on the A6 (Buxton Road), is a popular local pub.
Located near the junction of Mile End Lane and the A6 in Great Moor, the Dog & Partridge is a Robinson's pub. It is one of several pubs on the A6 which increase in frequency in nearby Hazel Grove to the south.
There is a range of cask ales on offer and a beer garden at the back with swings and a slide for the kids.
The menu includes beer-battered fish and chips, pies served with chips or mash and peas as well as a variety of sandwiches and jacket potatoes.

Finger Post
Located on the junction of Dialstone Lane and Hempshaw Lane in Offerton this once very busy, popular Robinson's pub dates from before World War I. There are six different drinking rooms of which three once had real fires. There is pool and darts, two function rooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) and also meals served. There's a beer 'garden' in the large car park at the back.

The Boar's Head
The Boar's Head in Poynton is close to the Macclesfield Canal and Anson's Engine Museum. A family and dog-friendly pub serving well-recommended meals and real ales, The Boar's Head is a pleasant place to relax for walkers on the Middlewood Way or in nearby Lyme Park as well as narrowboaters on the Macclesfield Canal. There's a rear garden and also seating outside the pub. Take a 391 or 392 bus from Stockport Interchange or Hazel Grove to get there or a train to Middlewood Station and walk a mile south on the Middlewood Way.

Ring of Bells
The Ring of Bells in Marple, close to Marple Junction, the meeting place of the Peak Forest and Macclesfield canals, is a large Robinson's pub with a spacious beer garden at the side. As well as the Robinson's beer on tap, the Guinness and Guinness 0.0 served from a can are excellent. The pub itself is over 200 years old and sits adjacent to the historic Macclesfield Canal towpath. Meals are served.
